Webi to Excel Export Issue

Hello,

I have created a dashboard in Webi, which contains 6 charts. 3 charts in the 1st row and 3 charts in the 2nd row.

When I export it to the Excel only 3 charts from 1st row get exported in Excel.

I have one more dashboard which shows the correct result after exporting.

How to solve this issue?

Hi ,

Strange .Can you try by

1.purging document .

2.Check if charts are placed in Header section somehow . Content in header section will not export to Excel

3.Check relative position of charts . Define manual relative position .

4.Duplicate the tab and check .

Hello,

I'd need some further details to narrow down the issue:

1. How long does it take to export the affected document that contains 6 charts? Make sure that the time doesn't exceed the Visualization Engine Timeouts in the Adaptive Processing Server (APS) hosting the Visualization Service.
2. Are the charts also missing when scheduling the report instead of manual exporting?
3. What is the the behavior when exporting to PDF format?

Please also check the following:

1. Make sure that your APS servers are sized/splitted properly, have enough memory allocated, and contain the Visualization Service. You can find further information in KBA 1694041.
2. You can also find some best practices about exporting WebI reports to MS Excel in KBA 1969285 and KBA 2052496.

It is exporting in few seconds.

Charts from 2nd row are missing in both Manual export and Scheduling.

PDF export is also happening in seconds and its showing correct result.

Other reports/dashboards are exporting correctly. The issue is only with this perticular report.
