UK Pensions issue

Hi there,

We have problem with GB pensions

1) EE ,ER contribution no problem.

2) we have a problem with AVC. We have two different AVC contributions one is on gross salary(1000) and other is total gross salary(1000-salary+200- over time)

I can't make Overtime Wage type to pensionable because as per business rule overtime WT are not pernsionble but it should calculate % on AVC.

Eg: EE and ER contribution on 1000-salary. Only AVC on 1000-salary+200- overtime this calculation has to be done in single time.

Hi Sonu,

I don't think there is any standard setting to achieve this. However, you can set up a PCR to do this.

If an employee has AVC contribution on total gross + overtime, the system will generate the corresponding wage type after function GPENS. You can check if an employee has AVC contribution in a PCR and calculate the additional contributions for the overtime.

Hope this helps.

Hi Sonu,

I am assuming that WT 9000 is generated after function GPENS and WT 1500 is used for Overtime. Create a PCR as follows:

ZPEN

|-*

|--9000

|---ADDWT *

|---AMT/ /111 ---> This will give you the percentage used for calculating AVC.

|---AMT* 1500

|---ADDWT *

Hope this helps.
