added fields to extract structure

i need to add a field named FDICH to 0MAT... data source...i added but getting missing errors ..can any one tell me the steps to add ...

Hi AK,

check weather FDICH is coming from the base table of 0MAT_ATTR.If yes then append structure will work.Other wise you have to write a routine to populate that field.Take the help of abaper and write a code in CMOD.Choose masterdata assign package and then start writing code for enhancing the structure.
