Assign a valid IBase component to the trasaction which represents the affected SAP System

We are trying to pass an incident to SAP in Solution Manager 7.2.

It's the first since we upgrade the system. When we try to do it, we're facing an error message saying that Installation number is missing in transaction XXXXX. If we check on the details, they say that we need to "Assign a valid IBase component to the trasaction which represents the affected SAP System".

Can someone give us a hand?

Thanks in advance!

Ines

Hello,

I believe the job REFRESH_ADMIN_DATA_FROM_SUPPORT is responsible for ensuring consistency of your iBase components (IBIN / IBST tables). Check whether the job (and the sequence as a whole, see section "SP5" from the SAP Note) is running properly in your system: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/1490774.

While this is not directly related to your question, it is recommended to verify IBASE consistency after the upgrade, and remove any potential duplicates or errors in validity dates:

  1. Run the following reports, repeat for all systems: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/1706180
  2. Check this SAP Note as well: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2012029

Hi Alexandre!

First off all, thanks for your help .

We tried all the tips that you gave us but we still have the same problem: The Job was indeed missing (but is not anymore 🙂 ). We also check the IBase components (run the reports and checked both SAP notes that you mentioned). We still can get no further! The same error is still appearing.

Do you remember anything more that can help us with this?

Thanks once again for your help.

Regards,

Ines
