Dependent requirements

Hi Friends,

I have done the Planning run ( Long term planning ) using tcode MS01. it has planned for the finished goods but the dependent requirements are not planned.

What can be the possible reasons???

Dear Narendra

Check u'r long term planning Procedure

1.) Create Planned Independent Requirememts (T.C MD61)

2.) Create Planning Scenario ( T.C MS31)

3.) Create Planning File Entries (T.C MS20)

Then Run Long Term Planning ( T.C MS01).Here Dependent requirements will not be created.Only Simulated requirements (SimReq) will be created.

You can view your stock requirements list through MS04

Hi

pl. check material master for dependent materials .

Straetgy group in material master should be blank .

If it is not blank you have to make some more saettings.

I have checked the material master of dep materials and the strategy field is

blank. Please guide what to do??

normally we use 40 for make-to-stock enviroment and 70 for configurable enviroment
