exclusive check out problem

Hi,

I am having this problem, please help..

I am checkedout some files,made changes and checkedin the activity. All the files in the activity got checked-in except for one file(this file was checkedout exclusively). But the activation went fine and the transport was released successfully.

When I try to edit or delete this file,I am getting an error

"(pre||post)-condition failed: file checked out exclusively."( on my user name)

My question is , 'is there a way to check in this file when the activity is closed'

or

is there a way I can delete this file.

or

is there any other way to check in a file, with no activity available?

Hi,

The problem will come when you modify the file without login into the DTR. You can not check in after activaty is closed, you need to create the new activity with the modified file and check in the activity.

Hi Jai,

Goto Navigator perspective, Goto DTR->AdvanceSync-.Syncdate or ForcedSync.

It will sync your particular file to specified date.
