Hello all,
I am printing a barcode label on a ZEBRA printer and everything looks ok to me except one thing. I am printing material description(40 chars length) on my label. For some reason the complete 40 chars of description is not getting printed on a single line. If the description is more than 40 chars, first 30 chars are printing in the right location and rest 10 chars are printing on a different line (4 or 5 lines above the actual
line).
I am wondering why ZEBRA is doing this? I am wondering if there is any hard limit on number of chars (30 chars) we can print on a single line? If yes, how we could address this issue?
Please share your ideas.

Hi Raju..
may i asked you some question ?
do you printing from some smartforms/SAP Script or just printing from list/ALV ?
i used to got same experiences when i'm printing using smartforms..
if u're using smartforms try to expand the box where it contains the 40 length character..
or try using the same printer driver in SAP SPAD and in your windows/OS
thanks,
sasmito

Hi,
I am printing the label from samrtforms. I tried to expand my window (window with material description text node) size as much as I could. Still I am having this 30 chars printing limit problem. I am wondering how to figure this out.
Thanks

Well..
if you using smartforms...
and got no problem with shorter character then it possibly the window is not wide enough..
try to use smaller font or thinner font...
hehehe.. or even wider paper..
smartforms are not smart enough huh ?
thanks,
sasmito
