Cannot run SAP after license is installed -- somebody help ......

We just installed license in SAP B.One server. After installation, the 30-day limit is removed. However, after installed the license, we cannot run any modules e.g. Purchased Order, Invoice, etc....

When we click

Click Purchase Order we get message:

"You are not licensed to open form [142] Invoice"

Click Sales Order we get message:

"You are not licensed to open form [139] Invoice"

Upon boot up, I see in the bottom screen some sort of error message, but it went so fast and I cannot read it. I believed it is something like "You are not licensed to open..."

1. What is happening and how to solve this?

2. Supposed it were working; How long will the license expire? Is there any "never-expired license" in SAP B1?

Tom,

Please check if the user you are loggin in as has the license assigned. It seems that the license probably is not applied to the user.

Thanks

Suda, on this particular system, we haven't set up any other user. This is first-time installation. I logged in using manager, license installed, and that's what I got. Please help.

I also just tried to open other modules (quotation, order, invoice, sales opportunities) and they all gave same error message "you are not licensed to open...".

Hi Tom,

1.make sure your license file has been imported properly (ServiceManager will say so)

2.in business one, login as manager

3.go to Administration->License->License Administration

4.select "manager" in the left panel, tick checkbox of "Professional User"

5.click the "Main Menu" to make it active

6. select menu->tools->form setting, click "Apply Authorization"

here you go
