SAP On Heterogenous operatings

has anyone implemented sap on heterogenous environments ( Solaris 10 and RHEL 4) ?

Please give input on setting up exe , profile and global directories for Nw2004s and how to share the folder between solaris and redhat.

Any document in service market place ?
