Can the Customer Masters be Extended ?

I want to know if we can extend a customer to two company codes. I am trying to extend one customer created with internal number range to another company code, but do not know how to.

Hi,

Yes, the Customer Master can be extended to other company codes. You can use transaction code FD01 / XD01 and enter the new Company for which it needs to be extended. General Data of the Customer appears automatically and this will not change. Company Code specific data and if required Sales Area data needsd to be updated.
