Thanks for your replies.

Can any one guide me Is there any need to deploy once again into production after or before importing into production through NWDI?

From development i released activities and able to see them in NWDI(CMS). I was able to successfully import in consolidation and even approved it without any errors. But when I tried to import in production tab , I am facing above problem.

Can any one explain me do I need to deploy directly into production (through NWDS) in WebDynpro perspective before importing into production from NWDI?

As far as my understanding if I import successfully into production I may need not to deploy it again.

You should always use NWDI to deploy your developments into your central landscape.

Only use NWDS for deployments to a local server.

Thanks for your reply. Can you please explain me why I not able to import in production in NWDI?

Hi

I was able to build DC sucessfully in NWDS and I was able to Activate it. But unfortunatly that Iview is not working unless I deploy it using NWDS. Ca you explain me reason for it. I guess I am missing some configurations.

Can any one help in this.

Thanks

The only thing I can think of is that a component that your Calender DC (btw. the correct English word is Calendar) uses is not yet deployed on your production system. Do you have any custom-built DCs defined as Used DCs?

Thanks for correcting me.There are no used DCs as custom DCs.

I am using some UME APIs like IuserMaint etc. So I added used DC as com.sap.securityapi.sda to remove builderros.Do you think this is creating problem ?

Hi,

How you have included the Jar files required to use this API?

I guess you need to create a library DC and use its reference in your DC.

What does the deployment log says?

Ashu,

Are your trying to confuse Radhakrishna? He is using a standard DC, so there's no need to use a Library DC. Furthermore, the deployment log is part of the first post in this topic...

Radhakrishna,

I have two questions:

1. Which options did your specify for this Used DC definition?

2. Did you specify the corresponding library/service references for the security DC in your Web Dynpro project?

Pascal you ended asking almost the same question that I asked.

Hi

I used com.sap.security sda file in used DCs to get rid of compile time errors in my project. If I am wrong please correct me.

As standard DCs are provided in used DCs , do I need to create lib DCs??Is this stopping me to import in production server??

You did the right thing. You must make sure though that your Web Dynpro application has access to these libraries at runtime by specifying their references in the Web Dynpro Project properties -> Web Dynpro References. This however should not be influencing your deployment, so I don't expect that missing these references is causing the deployment failure.

If deployment through NWDI was successful to the other runtime systems of the track, I think it would be best if you open a Customer Message for this problem.

Hi,

Try undeploying this application (if deployed earlier) through Visual Admin and try to redeploy.

Please let me know if the problem still persists.

This is first time deployment. I never deployed this before.

Thanks

Hi,

Look like you didn't deployed referenced application. First deploy referenced application and deploy original application.
