Transaction SOST vs. CRMD_EMAIL_LIST concerning Mkt Campaign

Guru's

Does anyone knows why my emails generated from a Marketing Campaign are listed in transaction CRMD_EMAIL_LIST but I can't see them in transaction SOST?

If I'm correctly informed, they should be in SOST too?

Anyone have a clue?

Will reward points!!

Joost

Hi Joost,

In Marketing Campaign execution using email will be processed at background.

Check your background (SM37) after running the campaign execution. If the background

runs successfully then you can check the transaction on SOST.

Please check this first. Hope this helps.

Hi Gun,

That is just the problem. The background job ran just perfectly. But still I can't see any of the mails in transaction SOST.

But when I test the communication medium of this Campaign, that generated mail I do see in SOST.

We have this problem since we upgraded from 3.0 to 5.0.

Thanks for your help so far!

Hi Joost, take a look at the job log of the email job in MS37.

There should be something listed there as to how many mails were sent. If there are a number of sent mails in this log. You can also check tcode CRM_EMAIL_LIST and check your campaign. This transaction will show you what's been sent in the campaign and a copy of the mail message and the appropriate send status of the mail message.

Let me know if this helps.

Hi Nima,

As I posted earlier, the job ran just perfectly, and I can see the the campaign summary in transaction CRMD_EMAIL_LIST.

I just can't see them in trannsaction SOST. Only when I run a test of the campaign, then I do see 1 email in SOST.

I think it is quite strange, and was wondering if it is a known problem.

Thanx for all your help!!

Regards,

Joost
