My customer wants to manage his installed software on his products

Dear all

I have a customer who wants to manage the Software which is installed on his product ( Analytics Machine for Health Care)

He wants to know, which Software ( and version) has been installed on a machine which has been sold to the customer. As Build, as delivered, as maintained . He is looking for a Approach and solution . Anybody experienced in that ? Could AIN be a solution ?

SAP Asset Intelligence network is a solution from SAP which helps to describe every instance of a connected product or asset which is used and installed in the field including serial number, technical attributes, documentation, repair instructions, etc. It is designed as a business network, so manufacturers can easily digitize their products and share the Digital Twin information with operators and other business partners. The operator can easily synchronize the asset information with his EAM back-end system. Furthermore it is possible to track which software / firmware version is installed on a special instance of this machine.
