Subcontracting outbound delivery - Picking

Hej,

We have a process where we need to create a Subcontracting purchase order. Thro ME2O we need to create outbound delivery to issue to the component to the subcontracting vendor. This outbound delivery when it comes to EWM. The WH operator will start the picking of the HU. However the qty in the delivery and HU may not match many times. It can be more or less. But we need a process to adjust the quantity of the Warehouse request as per the HU quantity. We have storage type which is Bulk managed.

I tried with an option in the Warehouse process type to Rounding Whole unit - 5 Round WT Quantity to Available Quantity. This option is not working. When I tried to create WT it is throwing Over delivery not permitted. We cant set over delivery limit for the subcontracting delivery created thro ME2O. I also try to create exception code with adjusting the qty difference. Even this does not work. Not sure what is the best way to address this requirement. I appreciate your input on this.

Does any one have solution for this process. How to set over delivery indicator in the OBD doc item level for subcontracting delivery doc.

"In the respective customer master, there is no flag called over delivery. However, I tried with to set the flag unlimited tol flag. This is not getting copied to outbound delivery. Moreover, I checked the code in EWM. SAP written code specifically to check the flag over delivery, not the unlimited flag." - I mean over/under delivery % in shipping tab in customer ,but it will work for sales order only Sorry , I forgot this 😞

However, I went and configured the other option in the rounding rule, quantity classification, and packing spec. It worked. I am not sure which rounding option will best suite for us. I need to check this.

ME2O- Did you treat vendor as separate customer ? Did you maintain customer with Over/Under delivery in Master? specific customer which has assigned to vendor which will responsible for delivery process of return/subcontracting etc.... ?

less-> Did you try with partial pick denial exception code which can update Warehouse request ?
