BI - BW Connection.

Experts,

We have connect a BI 7.0 system to a BW 3.1 system. I am trying to pull data from a cube in BW 3.1 system into a cube in BI 7.0. when I try to create transformations it says the the data source in bw 3.1 is not available in active version. IN BW 3.1 system I have generated the export data source again....even then it does not work. Any clues what might be wrong?
