SAP AFL for PAL

I want to install AFL to use PAL in my HCP database. But i don't know from where I'll get the software ?

Can you please help by providing link etc?

As nearly every SAP Software it can be downloaded from the SAP Support Portal. Goto "Download Software" area on the page and search for e.g. HANA AFL. Then you will find the download packages. The installation steps itself are described in the official SAP HANA Guides (as starting point you can use SAP HANA Predictive Analysis Library Prerequisites which provides further links).

Of course for the SAP Support Portal you need a user which has privileges to download the software.

Hi Florian,

When I'm going and selecting software I want, its giving popup that I dont have proper authorization I need to reach admin in my company.

I need this for my learning purpose..and I've S user id ..not sure how to get this?

The download is not for free. So if your user has not the rights and you have no "admin" user which is able to download it you cannot download it until you enhance your privileges.

But if you just wanna try it out for your learning purposes you can use one of the SAP HANA Express Editions, which include also AFL.

thanks Florian, Does it means my company has to pay for this?

For express edition I dont see any method where I can download on windows its all linux and I dont have linux on my machine. Any advise?

You can install a hypervisor (like VirtualBox) on your machine if your system is powerful enough. Or you can run SAP HANA Express in AWS, GCP, ...

If not, sure then you have to pay, that means "not for free".

Somehow I managed to get the AFL.But not sure how to install on HCP trail version I've.

but here they asking I think to FTP file to server location. I dont understand how I can do that because HCP is sap hana trail version.Do you've idea ?or guide me how to install step by step?
