search table

Hi,

i have a field name and i want to know all the tables that contain this field. so what is the method ?

Hi

Go to SE80

select ABAP Dictionary and click on fields and click on view fileds from left frame

and enter your field name on the right frame

and click on wherelese use button on application tool bar

i want to search table by field name not with data type,

i don't find ABAP Dictionary in SE80

please help

Hi,

In SE80 you can give the field name and search how many tables this field is used.

Hope this is your quesiton

Take data type from field name, go to transaction SE11, enter it in field Data type and choose button Where used list (CtrlShiftF3). System will list all tables where this data type is used.
