How to convert the Engineering BOM into Production BOM

Hi All,

I need some information regarding the Engineering BOM and Production BOM. I understood by using the BOM usages we can differentiate the Engineering BOM and Production BOM. Is there any automatic mechanism to convert Engineering BOM into Manufacturing BOM. Can we include any workflow in the procedure ??
