Hi everybody,
I tried to implement a widget. But when I try to access the BAPI by the "add" button in the RFC View of eclipse, I can test the connection I have created in the SAP Foundation Widget (And it respond "Success") but I can't find any function when I click the Search button.
The SAP foundation Widget seems to be perfectly configured (I can access the bapi I want to use via http://localhost:7531/SapMiddleTier/REST/ewcs/service/rfct/form).
Does anyone is facing the same problem ?
Best regards
Hi Johann,
did you type anything in the search field? For example "BAPI*"? Still no result?
Just an idea.

Have you tried to create your own service provider (JCO) inside Widget Foundation?
As you told your tests from Widget Foundation are successfull. Right. The Problem is just while using eclipse? Try the newly created service provider in eclipse. Maybe this helps. I do not have any problems there. Sorry
I tried to recreate the JCO in SAP Widget Foundation. I still have the problem in eclipse.
The eclipse I have installed is the one you can download here :
It integrates Eclipse and the plugins needed for building widgets.
This might sound strange but did you try restarting the widget foundation ? I've noticed that changes I make to the FM are not translated until I restart the Widget foundation..

No it didn't solve the problem. The time taken by eclipse while searching RFC functions is so short that I think it's not even trying to connect to my system. Right now I'm downloading again the Widget tools plugin to reinstall it. I will let you know if this solve my problem.
Thanks for your answer.
