find leaf in table

hi,

i have table with QUALIFICATION num and LEVEL and PARENTID and CHILDID

how could i now if the entry that i have in table is leaf or not ?

example will help.

Hi

I hope you are asking this with respect to HR Orgn management .

There should be some relationship defined between Parent and child

so based on that (BELONGS to) you should know the Leaf/parent/child etc

See the infotypes HRP1000..1001,1002,1003,1004 and 1005 etc

i do it in BW the table is /BI0/HQUALIFICTN and i need to find their the leaf

maybe u can give me direction?

maybe some one can give me general definition of leaf

i think that u now when is leaf when Child not Eq to 0 or initial

but i not sure

if the field IOBJNM is 0QUALIFICTN then its leaf else if its 0QUALIGROUP then its node.
