Statistical WBS elements

Hi

The org I work for are going to upgrade BW from V3.5 to V7, and are currently looking at BI/IP for a stream of work.

They use statistical WBS elements where the 'real' posting is in a cost centre.

From a planning perspective, how can a 'double-up' on planning be avoided - ie, both the WBS and the cost centre.

Can statistical postings be excluded somehow from planning?

Hi,

I think the simple way to exclude the stastical WBS postings from planning can be to restrict your planning levels with stastical WBS '#'. Is this not suitable in your case?
