After exporting SAP data from Oracle 11 to Oracle 12 (SAP export/import) the default compression level of tablespace PSAPSR3 was set to "BASIC".
It should be "ADVANCED" and this caused ORA-39726 (unsupported add/drop column operation on compressed tables) errors.
I could change the affected tables according SAP note 2157904, but I am afraid to have every new table in "BASIC"- compression, due to the default setting of the tablespace.
Question: Is it possible to change the compression level of the TABLESPACE itself from "BASIC" to "ADVANCED"?
Thanks in advance
Urs
