how to replicate DS as 3.x

Dear All,

I have created a generic Data source. I need to repliacte the datasource as 3.x Datasource.

I went to RSA1---> source systems ---> selected my source system : right click on it -

> Do i need to choose Repliacte Datsources?

Will this repliacte each and every Datsource in the source system,. In that case, i only want to replicate my genric datsource and in 3.x .

Also, i need to create 3.x infosource as i am working on BI 7. But when i created infosource it is showing as 7. How can i create 3.x infosurce or can i change the infosource i created to 3.x?

Could you please advise me as a matter of urgency?
