Hi Experts,
We want to make Reason field as mandatory while creating the transaction. if we wont maintain the Reason filed system should not allow me to save the Transaction.
For this I have configured the following:
I have define subject profile for Leads under the Path:
IMG->CRM->Transactions->Settings for leads->Reason for status leads->Define Subject Profiles
->Assign Status and Subject profile to Transaction type.
There are 3 options like 1) Reason is Optional
2) Reason is Necessary and 3) No reason necessary.
In the option field I have entered Reason is Necessary.
But whenever I am creating a transaction system still allowing me to save the transaction though I didn't maintain Reason filed.
As per my understanding system should not allow me to save until unless I maintain the Reason field.
Anybody suggest me is there anything missing which needs to be configured.

Rahul,
The crm system allows you to save the transaction with "errors". In CRM you can save incomplete documents and also save documents that errors(missing data) as part of the system design. Once a document is free of errors, then the document can be distributed or further processed.
It is not recommended to try to prevent a physical save, as it will cause further problems in the long run.
