Dear Experts,

I am wondering if the new data Protection Regulation for the EU area (GDPR) is compliant with the SAP Hybris Marketing system.

In the release of SAP cloud for customer (C4C) (https://wiki.hybris.com/display/custwebinvideo/SAP+Hybris+Cloud+for+Customer+-+1711+Release+Briefing?preview=/351705416/351727953/SAPHybris_CloudforService-1711-ReleasePreview_September_2017_Final.pdf) I found, that this feature already has many of the capabilities required to enable compliance with the EU GDPR and any further enhancements required to ensure compliance with SAP’s product standards in this area have either already commenced or will be underway soon.

For the yMarketing feature I found the video "Sicherheit" (https://www.hybris.com/de//CRM-XY17-DAC-LP_LOBITCM/werden-sie-zum-game-changer-videos#videos) where some information about the GDPR topic was provided.

I further found out that yMarketing has an integrated consent management tool but I would like to know about other requirements for the compliance of GDPR.

What about the deletion of the data? When is it deleted? When does a business relationship end?

End-customers have the right to get information which personal data is stored for what purpose. How can this data be provided?

And finally and most important, is SAP Hybris Marketing compliant with the EU GDPR?

Thank you very much for giving me more information about this topic.

Hi,

In the Roadmap for SAP Hybris Marketing Cloud there is an item called "Enhancements for data privacy & protection (GDPR 2018)" which is planned for the 1802 release.

I couldn't find any additional info on this.

Cheers,

Markus

I can confirm that we are working on this topic. However I have no overview over all legal aspects that have to be fulfilled and how many of them are already covered.

This would be very helpful to understand.

Will all apps and functionality still be supported moving past the GDPR date such as the social listening capability?

Thanks
