SAP ERP R/3 master data for multiple BI systems

Dear Sirs,

we are planning to use master data from one R/3 system for multiple BI systems. Is there a known restriction regarding this?

Has somebody made the experience that master data from one R/3 system can only be linked to a single BI system?

this is on BI 7.0.

Hi Helmut,

There is no such restriction that one R/3 system should give data to only one BI System.It can act as sourcesystem to n number of systems.For example Take APO system.It can take data from BW System as well as R/3 system as well.Here the same R/3 system can act as Sourcesystem to the BW system which is again the sourcesystem to APO System.So go ahead.
