Message is not visible in adapter engine - SAP PI 7.4 (Dual Stack)

Hello Experts,

We are using SAP PI 7.4 dual stack. Message is shown in successful status in integration engine but not visible in adapter engine.(Not in any of holding, waiting, system error etc status)

Could you please let me the root cause & solution of this issue ?

(I checked adapter engine --> message overview as well, but not found the message.)

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Swanand

Its message persistence issue in adapter engine.

Basis did some changes at server level so that (successful) message will persist only for 1 day in Adapter engine.

Thanks a lot for your help guys !!

Dear Swanand,

If the message is processed purely on the Integration Engine, you won't be able to see that message in the Adapter Engine's message monitoring.

Dear Mate,

Its Proxy to SOAP (webservice) scenario. Till yesterday message was visible. Also, a successful message persist in our system for 5 days.

Thanks.

Dear Swanand,

I see, I was not aware of your scenario. I assume the call adapter steps is successfully executed in the Integration Engine pipeline and sent to the Adapter Engine. Is the message even successfully sent to the receiver endpoint?

Best regards,
Mate

No, message is not yet received at receiver side.

What is the end-end Scenario?. Could be IDOC scenario where AE is ignored.

Its proxy to web-service (SOAP). Receiver is non-SAP system. So message should be visible in adapter engine. Correct me if I am wrong.

Hello Swanand,

Web service soap using soap adapter? Can you check from the receiver communication channel logs if you can get any message ID.

I doubt this could be a cache issue as well.

I checked channel logs as well, but didn`t found any message ID.

Can you try stop/starting the soap channel?

Also check if the ID cache is up to date.

Then you can try restarting the PI server once and check.

Are you using BPM process here?
