Afi,

Go to RZ21 --> select the instance profile parameter --> select Extended Maintanance --> Change --> Select or add parameter --> Copy --> Back --> Save the change and activate

there is a typo in your post, it is RZ11 as you already know and not RZ21.

Again , this time my typo: It is RZ10 where u can change it. RZ11 you can search and view it if you know the name of the parameter.

Is it for permanent change? Dont I have to do it at O/S level? Does it required any reboot? what parameter required reboot if I want to change it FOR PERMANENTLY?

Alf,

Its is recommended to do parameter changes through RZ10. Check the parameter in RZ11 and if you see a check mark against DynamicallySwitchable, you dont have to reboot else it requires a reboot. All the changes you made through RZ10 is permanent. You can do it through OS level but its not a good practice. If you do it through RZ10 it is logged.

Plus, you would need to restart the server for the change to take effect.
