base unit measure-material master record.

Hello all,

could you please guide me in creating/configuring the base unit measure field of material master record(basic data view). Please note that i already used CUNI t-code and i could not find the units which were already there in that field like case, each, unit etc.

please help me out.

In CUNI, you cannot see all the units at the same time. You need to change the dimension. Use the dropdown to select a different dimension.

Case, Piece, Each, etc are available in AAAADL (no dimension), Gram, KG, Ton etc in Mass and so on.

For a particular UOM to appear in the Material Master or to use it for purchasing, it needs to be defined as commercial UOM.

Hi,

In your UOM configuration for the units you configured, check if you activated the check box "Commercial Unit of Measure". If not already done, select it. Then try to create Material master again.. See if it works
