"Invalid navigation state, cannot load data" when opening Lumira Discovery Story in Designer

Hi all,

i still dont get the concept of interoperability between Discovery Story and Desinger Application.

I have a Discovery Story based on a BW Query (Imported from an OLAP-Connection on the BI-Platfrom).

I then save it with the option "Save without Data"

When I open the story in BI-Launchpad, I am prompted for the input variable, which means saving without data works in the Story.

Wenn I open the Lumx in Designer, first I realized the Data Source is still the Lumira Offline Data Source (which is the same as when I save the story WITH Data, although I would expect it to be an online Data Source). Moreover, the diagramm and the initial view of the offline data source shows "Invalid navigation state, cannot load data"

Is it a bug?

Or does it mean that I have to create new, online Data Source when I want to make a Designer Application out of my Discovery Story, which has been saved WITHOUT Data?

Hi - maybe you could try installing patch 1, just released late last week - see https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2534444 and see if the problem persists?
