extraxtion from 2 data source to 1 info cube

hi all,

i use COOM_C02 info cube and i extract from ;

-0CO_OM_CCA_9 Cost Centers: Actual Costs with Delta Extraction

and

-0CO_OM_OPA_6 Internal Orders: Actual Costs Using Delta Extraction

in the monitor i see that the extractions are succesfull. i can see all the data in PSA for both extractions. But when i look the data of the cube there are only 0CO_OM_CCA_9 data. I can't see the data extracted from 0CO_OM_OPA_6.

what's the problem might be?

Hi Hayrettin.

Please check that 0COOM_C02 is selected as data target in the infopackage used for 0CO_OM_OPA_6. Also make sure that you have not only selected PSA in the processing tab.

i didn't sellect "only PSA".

but in the infopacket used for 0CO_OM_OPA_6 i didn't sellect 0COOM_C02 also as data target. i have sellected the choice above : " all data targets".

maybe that's the problem . i'll try the other choice. thanx for your helpful reply. i'll assign points.

But what's the difference bettween two choices. when we use second one?

Hi again.

I'm sorry to say that this should not be the problem then. It should be fine if you selected "All data targets". We use the other choice of we only want to load into some specific data targets and not into all for which update rules exist.

Did you check if the request was deleted from the cube? It might have been if automatic deletion of existing requests is active in your other infopackage.

[edit] Also please verify that the update rules are active!

update rules are avtive, in the monitor every step is green. but there is no record in the cube.

why all the data comes untill update rule and aren't saved to the cube? i can't understand.

Hi ,

Check in data targets tab of your IP whether the cube is checked there or not??

Yes, obviously the data records are not being updated to the cube because of the update rules: "Update rules ( 519 -> 0 Records )"

Are you using any routines in the update rules, are the char. and KF mapped correctly?

thank u for helps.i don't use any rutins.

i have activated the cube with all update rules from the BI Content. So that i didn't touch anything.

Mustn't that be correct?

but u are rigth there must be a error in update rule. i'll check it now.

Hi Hazrettin,

When you go to manage of the cube you see the request, that you have loaded it is green and the number of records added is zero and there are no selection conditions in that column - is my understanding correct

If so go to your start routine in the update rule and check if there is some filter logic which in this case is not updating records to your cube

Both the data from both sources should be there as long as both the data load is successful, check in the status if the data load from 0CO_OM_CCA_9 is actually reportable.
