agent assignment : EVALUATE_AGENT_VIA_EXPESSION

hi all

i am facing an issue wth travel and expense workflow.

i have to sent a mail to managers manager in case of processing obsolete event.

my container shows correct values for both manager as well as the managers manager. the activity reaches the manager succesfully. but in case of processing obsolete the work item is nt sent too managers manager.

though my contaner has correct values for both manager and managers manager i am getting the following error; EVALUATE_AGENT_VIA_EXPESSION failed.

can any suggest what to do ??

This might happen if the task mentioned is not General task. It can happen that the user ID. of the manager´s manager does not exist in the SAP system. I think this can be the cause.

Hi Arghadip

I think you are the <b>only</b> one actively asking for points on this forum. Do you need to? If someone doesn't even have the courtesy to reciprocate, you just tell them that and carry on.

Have you defined the task as a general task? Your rule might work perfectly, but if there are no possible agents (or if the agent is not among the possible agents) for the task, you might see that error.
