Design Studio and chrome zoom function (version 1.6)

Hello,

I encounter some issues on the application rendering when playing with the zoom function of my browser (Chrome).

I found the 2268652 note that explains that this function is not supported (for all DS versions).

I struggle to find a way to explain this to my users. Is it for real ? No kidding ? still true on Lumira 2.0 ?

The problem doesn't seem to occur with IE.

Regards,

Frederic

hmm, ok. I'm just struggling to find this acceptable.

My issue is on a crosstab with a hierarchy (rendering issue at 80% : missing lines, no vertical slide bar, heigth of the header exagerated...)

Thx

Hi Cincet,

The issue is for real. There is a post here with similar behavior on browser Zoom functionality, looks like there is an issue with application rendering.

I never had issue with Zooming into maps, as far rest of the content (KPI's, crosstab, text value representation) goes, i'm heavily focused on Grid component and setting Width,Height Auto. This way users don't have to Zoom into Browser.

Hi Cincet,

We had this issue to while expanding hierarchy nodes. User have to double tap on the header to adjust the column width during those labels cut-off. I tried manual width of column taking the max-char from the data but initial view of cross-tab looks funky as there was 10-15 char data and grows as we drill-down.

Have you folks upgraded to Lumira 2.0. Most of the rendering issues has been addressed with Lumira Designer.
