An urgent Costing Issue in CK11N

Hi! Gurus,

After maintaining cost center, activity, KP26 when I am going for making cost estimation (CK11N). System is giving a message "<b>No structure could be determined for internal activity X (COST CENTER Y)"</b>. And this message for all activities.

Elaborately the message is "<u><b>Check the master data for activity type X of cost center Y. It is possible that no activity price calculation has been carried out for the cost center".</b></u>

Check in KL03 ie) Display Activity Type

Maintain CCtr Categories is * (that is all cost center categories)

I'm facing the same as you did, "No structure could be determined",

how could solve the issue. could you plz suggest to me the same as I'm in dire need of solution.

Hii Prasun,

Check your activity type assigned to to your standard value keys in cost tab of work center. Also check the cost center. WHatever you have assigned in KP26, that has to be matched with activity type against Std value key in costing tab of work center. If all are correct then check your costing variant, which you need to define at the time of creating the Std Cost Estimate.

First run costing run CK11N for the components below a FERT and then for the header.

If you have done in the same way than....ignore this or this should solve your problem.

Hi,

Check in the activity type master data ( KL02 ) the price calculation should be 1 and 3.

then try the CK11N.

Dear Prasun,

I also have faced the same problem.that is due to wrong entry in material master.Product for which you are performing cost estimation activity will be having some assemblis or sub-assemblies under it.

For those assemblies pls go with T-Code MM02-Change material master and in MRP-2 view change the Procurement Type as it is inhouse production or external procurement.

Do thechecking for all assembly coes and rectify the error.

I think after that there should be no problem in Cost estimation using CK11n Transaction.

Dear sanjay,

According to my business process, those FERTs can be internal and external both, that's why I have maintained X as proceurement type. That cann't be internal or external.

Pl. I am very needful. If u have any other answer then pl. suggest me.

Dear Prasun,

As you have mentioned clearly,check in KP26,whether some activity rates has

been assigned for an activity type for this financial year or for the period with which

you are working or using.

Also when you assign a cost centre for a work centre,assign the proper activity

types which's linked to that cost centre and also it should be having some rates.

Sometimes this decimal places also gives problem.

Check & revert.

In KP26, I have maintained Distribution Key 2, Price unit 00001, Plan price indicator 1, average price is selected, Fiexd cost properly with respect to activity type and costecenter.

If I have made any wrong then pl. revert me.

Dear Prasun Das,

What you have maintained is right,but when you assigned for which period to

which period & year,Cost centre,Activity type have you done this?

For this Financial year 2007-2008,in KP26,it has be like this,

Version - 0,

From period - 1

To period - 12,

Fiscal Year - 2008.

Cost centre - XXXX

Activity type -

then the exact values has to be assigned & save the datas.

Check with this & revert.

The form and to period can be anything(ex. can be 1 to 2 or can be any x to y, where x and y are two different period).

But I am doing as same, which u are telling.
