Interactive Run of ABC-XYZ Segementation

Hi All,

Does SAP IBP provide capability to run ABC-XYZ segmentation interactively from excel planning view?

I have created a profile and checked the interactive check box under Sgementation planning operator & assigned it to my planning area.

However I am not able to see the Segmentation operator in my excel > IBP ribbon>Advanced tab.

Is there any other configuration that needs to be done to run it interactively?

Hello Vijay,

No, it is not possible to use Interactive Mode (simulation) for ABC/XYZ Segmentation operator in Excel. The reason is because this operator stores the product's classification (that is, A, B, C, X, Y or Z) in the Master Data. Therefore, runnning a simulation you would not be able to see the results.

I talked to the Development team, expert on this matter, and they will check the possibility of make the Interactive Mode checkbox greyed out in the Manage Planning Operators page. See screenshot below:
