Contract Target value with version Management

Hello Expert

We have a contract with Rate and a target value.

The user had created CRO more than a target value. This contract was created for Fuel and you know that fuel prices are getting change on monthly basis and the user was used to create CRO with the same rate defined in the contract and some they did create CRO with the different price (+/-) from contract rate.

Now System was not stopped to create CRO more than contract header value. (Message: converted into error Target value exceeded)

Please guide the possible solution and also let me know the reason why the system allows to create CRO more than the target value.

Note : Version Management is active and this is old contract before activation of Version and system does not allow to change the target value.

Dear Former Member ,

Agreed with dev.patra , You need to make error these two message i.e.

• Set errors 06042 and 06078 to "E" (OLME -> ENVIROMENT)

You problem would be resolved.

Thank you for your advice. However, these two messages are already in Error state

As per my thinking contract had different rates and CRO had different rates and system stop the CRO when you receive a material because system matches the value of CRO when it receives a material, not at the time of CRO creation.

Thank you for your email CRO means Contract Release order. Target value exceeded message already in Error mode. However, my question is why the system allows to create CRO more than contract Target value

I was not asking the fullform of CRO. I was asking what is the release order a purchase order or a purchase requisition ?

Have you made those two messages as error ?

What does it mean by CRO, is it purchase order or requisition ?

If purchase order, then look into this KBA 2447752 - Contract release value is exceeded

If requisition, then check this KBA 1624994 - Messages 06 042 (Target value of contract & exceeded by & &) and 06 078 (Target quantity exceeded by & &) for Purchase Requsition
