Dear all,
I have an Export DataSource from one Cube to an ODS. Via Transport it does not
get activated in QA. There I get an error that the Extract Structure is not defined.
Althought generated and also reassigend in DEV, it is not getting activated.
How do I get an Export DataSource transported and active in QA as well Prod?
Many thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Claudia
Did you replicate the datasources of your BW system in your BW QA system?

Hi Geo,
I am not sure understanding right, but have the feeling that's the issue.
Do you mean to re-import the same transport?
I selected all objects in Transport Connection and created a new - but
the transport still gives me the error, that the extract structure is not
existing.
Cheers,
Claudia
Hi Geo,
yes, I am only allowed to create new transports. Re-Imports are not allowed.
Within the transport I included the datasource, transfer structure, infosource,
sending cube, transfer rules, receiving ods. Still, the export datasource is inactive.
Where is the trick - what else?
Many thanks in advance for all inputs!
Cheers,
Claudia
It sounds like everything is there except your update rules from the cube to the ODS. I am assuming the name of the infosource is 8(cubename), not 8(ODSname).
If you need to create another transport, go to the Transport Connection and start with the receiving ODS. This should collect everything you need.
is this solved?

Hi Claudia,
Add your cube to the trasport request as well.
Hope this helps...
