P&L Report - Based on Cost Center

Dear Gurus,

Is there any standard report in R/3 for P&L Report by Cost Center?

If not, how can I create it using Report Painter/ Report Writer? What tables should I use to get the report.

I am working in R/3 3.1I.

Thanks in advance.

regards,

Raj

    Hi Raj,

When you run a report and used there a cost element structure that is the same as you balance structure then you can get in the most reports the same result is your P&L structure in FI.

Why would you want to have this option? Cost center is a CO object.... and is normally not used for making postings to balance sheet accounts.

Even if there is a possibility to get a trial balance by cost center, your data won't be complete.

You can use business areas for making distinctions within one company code.
