Hi,

When processing an inbound SHPMNT05 iDoc we get following error message.

Function module not allowed: IDOC_INPUT_SHPMNT

Pls help.

Hi Somenath,

Before using any function module for posting you need to register it with corresponding message type.

Check if corresponding function module / Message type and Idoc Basic type entry is available in Transaction Code : WE57.

Hi,

Check the IDOC is posting data,create an IDOC and in we19 try to post it,there u can selct the debugging option,check is it allowint to post the data into database.

if it allows then check we20 message type,delete it and reload it again,iam sure it will work,this ia a simple trick,it will work..

I suggest you to see the following thread:

where you can find this for your problem:

1. Please check that the process code in the inbound partner profile is correct.

2. If this is the case, you should check the ALE inbound methods ALE inbound methods for the process code and see whether the specified function module and application object type are correct.

I suggest you to check the partner profile in the receiver system (TCODE we20). Probably you have selected a wrong process code.
