Hi

i am new to 7.0...i have worked on 3.5 i am having the following doubts in 7.0

2 scenarios

I have created a data source now can some one tell me how to proceed further i want only datasource and info cube...please explain me in steps

and also

I am having datasource,infosource and info cube please explain the creation steps and also should i use DTP from data source to infosource and then again Dtp from IS to IC.I am stuck in this .....can some one send me the snaps shot how to do this...urgent please...

Hi

Infosource is mandatory in BW3.5,but in BI7.0 it is optional,and also it is used wen we will go for the sequencial transformations at the same time.

After creating the datasource,u have to replicate it(RSA1-->search fro the datasource,right click and replicate it) then the metadata comes to PSA which is in BI.We have to create infopackage next and load data from R/3 system to BI.

Then create DTP and transformations on the datatarget and execute it the data now finally will come to Data target.
