Hi Binayak,

The Consignment Return This process should not be confused with the pick-up of the materials. The consignment return is a sales process flow that represents faulty materials or the product consumed or sold by the consignee. The consignee puts the stock back into his consignment

stock as faulty and requests a credit note for returns. The process flow is shown in Figure 2-89.

Figure 2-89: The consignment return process

Tip You may wonder why the material is simply not returned into stock. A rule of

thumb is that for every outward process, there must be an equal inward process. This is to ensure that material postings back into stock and financial postings are balanced. It also assists in the balanced inward and outward updating of logistics information systems.

The sales document type KR has a sales document type category H, which indicates a sales return document. The return should also have a different number range for the visibility of

returned items. The returns document type should also promote a special shipping condition that causes a special shipping point to be used in shipping point determination, which, as discussed in sales document types, can be used to process all return deliveries

And KR is for Consignment Returns and the stock will come to Consignee Place

Use MB1B to Move the Stock to the Blocked Stock.

Reward If Helpful..

Hi,

First Use the Consignment Pickup process to return the goods from consignee to company and then use the MB1B to move the stock from main storage location to the Blocked Stock Storage Location and the movement type is 311.

Hi Binayak,

You should perform a consignment pickup.

Check the following link.

Hi,

In the notes given by you it is written that we can use consignment return also for faulty items. Then why should i use Consignment Pickup.

Hi Binayak,

There are 3 parties involved as shown below.

Company --> Customer --> Customer's Customer

Consignment Fillup: Material moves from Company to Customer

Consignment Issue: Material moves from Customer to Customer's Customer

Consignment Return: Material moves from Customer's Customer to Customer

Consignment Pickup: Material moves from Customer to Company

Is your requirement to move the goods into blocked goods when a return process is performed??? In standard SAP when the return process is executed it does not go to the blocked goods, it only happens after the consignment pickup.

hi Binayak,

Standard SAP Does not support to set the stock as a blocked stock from Consignment Returns. So u need to take back the material from consignee and then move the stock to the Blocked Stock.
