NWDI: Problems with assembly step

Hello,

we have a problem with NWDI nw04s SP13. During the assemly step we had a problem one the filesystem level and the step was unsuccessful. We solved the filesystem issue, but now we aren't able to take out this step again. We always get the error message.

The initial exception that caused the request to fail, was:

java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "PATCHLEVEL"

at java.lang.NumberFormatException.forInputString(NumberFormatException.java:63)

at java.lang.Integer.parseInt(Integer.java:492)

at java.lang.Integer.parseInt(Integer.java:542)

at com.sap.cms.ui.wl.AssemblyOptionsPopup.onActionStartAssembly(AssemblyOptionsPopup.java:366)

at com.sap.cms.ui.wl.wdp.InternalAssemblyOptionsPopup.wdInvokeEventHandler(InternalAssemblyOptionsPopup.java:491)

... 29 more

Is there a possiblity to delete files from the assembly step?

We would then create an new activity, release the activity and transport the code again through the assembly step.

Regards,

Alexander

Looks more like you are entering an invalid (non-numerical) value for the patchlevel in the popup that comes when you click Assemble Components. Please verify your input.

Hello,

I have opened a sap call. It is a bug in the NWDI. The bug can appear, if you have transport in the NWDI with an older release, for example SP12 and the NWDI is on SP13. The data structure has been changed and sometimes these problem appears. The SAP will build a fix.
