Guess it was an issue with the installation itself. After restore and reinstalling the server the access with open document links work fine.
Thank you anyhow!
Just a guess, but it appears that the deployment of the BOE web application was incomplete or corrupt. I would try re-deploying.
I'd check the setupengine.log from the upgrade to see if any went wrong. Depending on results different actions could be taken.
Try to re-deploy the webapps (as previously suggested).
Hello,
thanks for your reply. We tried to redeploy everything without success.
The setupengine.log File is also fine, just some warnings which are not relevant (mobile BI).
After redeploying we got a new error message:
I checked sap notes but i cannot find a solution for this one. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Can you help me to trace the opendocument service? In CMC I changed the Trace Log Level to "High" for the Application "Open Document". Then I retest my problem but no log files appear. Where are they stored?
I checked several notes (e.g. 2421948) but there is no information about where the log files gets created.
Thanks you for your comments.
1) How to create a new open document with the wizard? When I navigate to a document (e.g. web i Report) in the bi Launchpad - context menu - open document I get the link and try to open it in a new browser session. This results in the error "http Status 404".
2) How to do a http trace? Which tool is used for that? The bi Support tool?
3) The error is http Status 404.
Thank you!
I didn´t read note 2421948 properly.
Log files are stored in these folders:
4.2: C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\SBOPWebapp_OpenDocument_<ip address>_<port>\
4.1: C:\SBOPWebapp_OpenDocument_<ip address>_<port>\ folder
Anyhow, the problem with HTTP Status 400 is still there...
