payroll run questions

hi sap gurus,

this is kiran,recently i have finished SAP-HR course.can you please help me out in finding answers for the following quesions.

1. can we run the payroll without maintaing 0007 infotype and how?

2. can we run the payroll without maintaing 0009 infotype and how?

3. where we do the integration between time and payroll modules?

hai..

u cannor un payroll without IT0007. But u can run payroll without infotype 9.. When u fil this infotype all the previous months payments will be added as arrears due to retro calcu and the total amt will be displayed........

Integration between Time and Payroll is series of steps..

In Infotype 7 the time mgmt status decides whether integtration has been maintained/ not

1st one is possible... normally u create Personnel areas and asign them to a company code..

2nd one may not be possible..

If u Maintain 0007 and 0008 infotypes that it self is an integration for time and Payroll particularlly u need'nt do any where in ur system

HI Kiran,

1) U cannot run the payroll without maintaining IT0007 because system calculates the reimbursement based on the no. of days/hours worked which is calculated based on the data from IT0007.

2) U can run without IT0009, this is for bank details. Also if u dont have Bank details for employees u can select cash payment and save it. But it is not mandatory to maintain this IT.
