Dear Experts,

We have configured interface in PI which are pointing to one client of another system.

Now if we need to configure the same interface from PI to new client in the same system how much time it should take implement this.

E.g. PI-100---> SAP-100 -- This is in place

Now we need same interface FROM PI-100 to SAP 111 CLIENT.

(In this case SAP is one sysem)

Hi,

If the same message has to flow to New SAP client then add this system as new receiver in the receiver determination and create respective ID objects (not more then 10 mins i believe) assuming you have already connection setup.

Thanks Manoj,

So basically connection set up is nothing but RFC connections by using logical systems. Normally this should be in place.

So there is no client specific configuration required in PI which we normally do in for any new interface set up?

By adding simply new receiver message will flow to the new client, M i right ?

I need this info to find baseline estimation to to plan the various interface for different systems and this is one of the scenario.

Roughly keep it like 1-2 hrs per interface and multiply with number of interfaces.

And for testing based on number of test cases,test data availability and function team(if any team is required for testing) keep 3-10 days
