Using the Data Direct drivers that came with PowerDesigner 16.6 I created a odbc connector and it successfully connects to Salesforce. When I use the connector in PowerDesigner I get an error that there is a mistmatch between the driver and the application.
Could this be due to using a 32-bit ODBC driver with a 64-bit DB client, or something similar?
By the way, if you're reverse-engineering Salesforce to understand the data that's in there, you might not get much from the actual schema, so I suggest you take a look at a product called Safyr - https://www.silwoodtechnology.com/products/salesforce-metadata-discovery/.
