Hi Guru's,
Can anybody please tell me in what scenario's I shall user <b>User Exit: RSR00001 for Reporting</b> in BI?
Please give me complete scenario. And how to use it?

The Usr exit process type is used with variables when you hav a function modult to populate your varible with data at run time.
suppose u have query with a key figure 0CALDAY, restricted by the variable ZSCAL7 (Acumulated Period). This variable is defined as 'customer exit'.
Go to CMOD tcode and select project for enhancement RSR00001.
In the Function module EXIT_SAPLRRS0_001 create click on include ZXRSRU01 and there find your variable.
Search for The variable name :ZSCAL7
