Implementing CATS on EP 6.0, R/3 4.7, WAS 6.40

Hi all,

To implement time sheet entry via CATS in ESS, do I need to go through a standalone ITS server if I am already running WAS 6.40 for both EP 6.0 and R/3 4.7, or is all functionality available through the internal ITS in the WAS 6.40 ?

I would have thought it was OK through the internal ITS, but I've heard that this may only be valid with newer versions of ECC at the back end, not R/3 4.7.
