Webdynpro JAVA

Hi,

I'm developing an application for SYMBOL MC3000 and i would like to activate the scanner and be able to scan a barcode into an input field.

i started developping the application with webdynpro abap, and then realized that i have to do it in webdynpro java.

Can someone explain which tools do i need to develop in webdynpro java ? Do i need NetWeaver Developer Studio ? or can i just use eclipse and a plug in ?

You will get the NWDS (this is plug in to eclipse itself) from service market place. Just ensure that you have the same version of your NWDS as that of your WAS.

Hi! mayaa,

you just Need to have NWDS and "web as java" application server to develop an application in WebDynpro.There isn't any need of plugin.

Mobile Infrastructure is one of the component of Netweaver Platform,used to create User Interface for Mobile Devices like Mobile Phone.

Hi,

Do you mean that without NWDS i can't develop an applicaion in webdynpro java ?

For webdynpro ABAP, you don't need NWDS you just connect to se80 and that was all. Does webdynpro java need further intallations ??

yes as far as i know without NWDS you can't develop any WebDynpro appl.
