    Hi

reference operation set is a set of operations which will be frequently used in different routings.

meaning while creation of rroutings for different products, & if the operations are common, you can maintain reference operation set & call for while creating the routings.

your work is simplified when creation of routing if you have reference operation set.

In a similar way while creating the inspection plan you can have reference operation set .

    hope it is clear .

    Hi,

You can use transaction ca11 to create a reference operation set.

Say you have some operations to be included in many tasklists(routing/inspection plan etc.), then you can create a reference operation & then in the tasklist you can link the ref.opr set thrrough the group no. of the ref.opr set. Then the operations from the ref. opr set gets copied to the tasklist.
